QM represents the positional propensity of each residue/dipeptide at a particular position. QMs have been generated for HemoPI-1 and HemoPI-2 datasets; where propensity at each position for every residue is obtained by substracting the positional propensity of negative dataset from that of positive dataset in both ( HemoPI-1 & HemoPI-2 ) the datasets.

Single residue-based QM for HemoPI-1 dataset. For each position, frequency of each amino acid is calculated for both positive and negative dataset and final propensity value in each cell represents the substraction of frequency of a particular residue in negative dataset from that of positive dataset. eg. First cell having value -3.26 represents that Alanine at 1st position is more preferred in negative dataset of HemoPI-1 dataset. In contrast, F and G are preferred in positive dataset at 1st position.
