Biomarker Module of CancerLivER

This module allow the user to search, browse and fetch biomarker data maintained at CancerLivER database. The current version of CancerLivER maintained around 594 biomarkers that includes 378 diagnostic and 202 prognostic biomarkers. These biomarkers are based on different types of samples (like Tissue, Plasma, urine) and different types of biomolecules (like RNA, Protein, miRNA). data regarding specific type of Biomarker or "Potential Biomarker *". Following data retrieval facilities have been integrated in this module for effective data access.
Note: Potential Biomarker with * indicates these signatures are candidate biomarkers extracted from experiments on mice, rat or cell lines and they are not validated on human patients'cohort.

Search: Keyword

It allows the user to search using a simple keyword. By default, it searches against major fields. It also allows the user to DISPLAY desired fields of the resource.

Search: Complex

This page is designed for advanced level of searching in CancerLivER. It allows user to perform complex queries, where user can search two or more than two fields with conditions.

Browse: Gene

This page provides the option to browse the entries of CancerLivER based on the gene/miRNA, protein entity.

Browse: Type of Biomarker

This page provides the option to browse the entries of CancerLivER based on the Types of Biomarkers (Diagnostic/Prognostic/Predictive).

Browse: Type of Biomolecule

This page provides the option to browse the biomarkers of CancerLivER based on the type of biomolecule (Protein/RNA/miRNA).
