CancerLivER: Analysis

Analysis Modules of CancerLivER

This module facilitate users to perform a wide range of analysis to observe the variation in the expression pattern of the genes among various types of samples in different datasets. User can perform analysis based on a Single Gene, Multiple Menes, Pathway Genes and Gene Ontology (GO) based Genes. In Addition, using the Multiple Genes option user can also perform ssGSEA (single sample Gene Set Enrichment Analysis) for GO terms and KEGG pathways and can also find out significantly differentially enriched GO terms or pathways between HCC and non-tumorus samples. Following is a brief description of all options integrated in analysis module of CancerLivER.

Analysis: Single Gene

This module allows analysis of a gene selected by user, it includes mean expression of gene in cancer samples and normal cancer for different profiling techniques of platforms

Analysis: Multiple Genes

This module allows the User to select more than one gene for analysis. This module is designed for performing comparative analysis of multiple genes. Here, one can also perform ssGSEA (single sample Gene Set Enrichment Analysis) for given set of Genes.

Analysis: Pathway

It allows the User to analyze the expression patterns of genes in selected/desired pathway (KEGG or Biocarta). This module will display mean expression values of genes in a given pathway for comparative analysis.

Analysis: GO-term

This module allows the User to analyze the expression patterns of genes in a selected/ desired GO (Gene Ontology) term. It allows comparative analysis of all genes in a GO category/term.
