This webserver has been designed to facilitate research on Tumor Necrosis Factor Alpha (TNF-α) and aid in vaccine design and development. The primary goal of this server is to predict TNF-α inducing peptides.

This page provides a brief overview on different modules of the server. Following are major modules in this server:


Predict Module

This module allows the user to predict which proteins can induce the production of TNF-α. User may submit a single peptide or multiple peptides in fasta format. User can select the desired model by checking the box provided in the main page.

Protein Scan Module

This module allows user to identify regions in a protein, which could be potential inducers of TNF-α. User may submit a single peptide or multiple peptides in fasta format. User can select the desired model by checking the box provided in the main page.

Design Module

This module allows users to generate mutants of the query protein and each mutant is checked for its ability to induce the production TNF-α according to the model selected by the user.

Blast Scan Module

This module allows users to search the query protein sequence against the database of known TNF-α inducing peptides using similarity-based search method, i.e. BLAST.
