ProCanBio is a database of manually curated biomarkers for prostate cancer. It allows user to search various biomarkers related to prostate cancer contained in ProCanBio Database. Currently it has 1927 entries from 1382 unique biomarkers. Users can perform biomarker search based on Type of Biomarker, Source of Biomarker, Type of Biomolecule, and the Basis of Biomarker.
Keyword Search
Allows searching the database using a single keyword. Will retrieve all information related to the keyword search in the database. Users can choose which fields to display.
Complex Search
Advance queries can be retrieved by searching in more than one condition in the same query.

Shows all biomarkers pertaining to their nature – Diagnostic, Prognostic or Predictive.
Browse By Type of Biomolecule
Shows all biomarkers in the database on the basis of what biomolecule they belong to. Protien, RNA, DNA or miRNA.

Shows all biomarkers in the database on the basis of how they were collected – Tissue, Urine, Plasma, Blood or Serum.

Shows all biomarkers in the database on the basis of how the biomarkers are measured – Expression Based, Mutation Based, Methylation Based.
