Rb also play essential roles in the regulation of cell cycle. Licochalcone A treatment resulted in a dose-dependent increase in Rb and a decrease in MDM2 protein levels, suggesting that Licochalcone A may induce cell cycle arrest by affecting the levels of Rb in gastric cancer cells.
