Help

This page provides help to the users of CRCRpred on how to efficiently use this tool of risk prediction for stage III colorectal cancer patients. For each module which is implemented in CRCRpred, here we provide the figures and description on how to use that module. Two general modules are presented here.

Single Protein

This module calculates the risk percentage against the selected protein with concentration submitted in nanomolar units.

Multiple Proteins

This module calculates the risk score given the protein concentration of all the proteins in required format i.e. nM.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q1. What is CRCRpred?
Ans. CRCRpred is a webserver that can be used to distinguish high risk CRC patients from low risk CRC patients given the protein concentration of one or more apoptotic proteins (Bak, Bax, Bcl2, BclXL or Mcl1) involved in the pre-mitochondrial pathway of apoptosis.

Q2. Why CRCRpred?
Ans. The risk estimation in CRCRpred is based on statistical and survival analysis on recent CRC datasets and shows significant improvement over the previous methods/studies.
