This module displays the basic search page of ViralVacDB. Clicking on the required field will allow the user to browse the specific information in the database. The "Select Fields to be SEARCHED" section provides options for various keywords through which search can be made in ViralVacDB. User can select fields to be displayed from the section "Fields to be DISPLAY". User can click on respective IDs to get all the details regarding the entry.

This page provides the advanced search facility in ViralVacDB. User can browse the page by selecting multiple fields.

Browse by Categories: All the Categories in the database

• Disease name
• Administration Route
• Vaccine Type
• Disease Classification
• Clinical Phase
• Vaccine Status

So if a user wants to retrieve the information about different types of viral disease, user can choose the relevant option from the option box. A user can restrict the fields to be displayed in the Result page. All the vaccines are linked to references that could be either clinical trial ID, pubmed ID. The result screen will show "No record found under specified condition" when no relevant data is found in the database.

To view detailed information about any viral disease, from the results page of Search or Browse, select on the ID column of the row you are interested in. This opens a disease card which shows manually curated information from the paper the disease was taken from.
