AntigenDB: Help PageKeyword SearchKeyword search is the easiest way to search for a particular antigen of interest. In the search field please enter antigen entry number (if known), antigen name, SwissProt acession no, PDB Id or Pubmed Id. The keyword should be without spaces. The antigen search can be filtered further by antigen type (Protein, Glycoprotein, carbohydrate etc.) or by selecting the organism from the drop-down menu. You can choose default fields or select 'All'. After searching you can browse details of available antigens such as Primary, B cell, T cell epitope information, Function, Gene Expression and Post-translational modification information.
Epitope SearchThis tool is available to search for antigens containing an epitope sequence. This will search the AntigenDB database and display a list of antigens possessing this epitope.
Peptide MappingThis tool is to find out whether your protein contains some experimentally known epitope or not? This option will scan all epitopes present in the database and map any hits back to your protein sequence. Proteins can be submitted by browsing the sequence file or by pasting raw sequences in any sequence format readable by 'ReadSeq' Program.
Antigen Blast This is a blast tool to search for similar antigens present in the AntigenDB Database. Different types of matrix can be selected with different E value thresholds.
Data SubmissionThis allows online submission of new antigen data to AntigenDB. After submission, antigens will be assigned database entry no and will be included after checking the authenticity of the data. |
