Database of anuran defence peptides

Introduction

DADP is manually curated database of antimicrobial and all other defence peptides with a total of 2571 entries. Out of these 1923 entries are non-identical with bioactive sequences and among these 1923 entries 921 have minimum-inhibiting concentration (MIC) against at least one microorganism. Database also provides the feature of annotation such as the primary structure, antimicrobial or other activity, host taxonomy, biogeography information, etc.
