Method | Peptide derivative was dissolved in 4 mL deionized water. After manual pre-titration to set the monomer solution to the desired pH ( 8.5 - 9.5), protease was added, and the reaction vial was agitated by a vortex mixer such that, in 10s, the solution underwent a sol-gel transition.
