Help Page of RAIPred

This web server is designed to predict Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)-inducing peptides, providing a valuable tool for advancing research and therapeutic development in autoimmune diseases.

This page provides help on different modules of server. Following are major modules in this server:

Predict: This module allows users to identify disease-inducing peptides from a peptide set or library through virtual screening. Users can submit multiple peptides, and the server will evaluate and rank them based on their likelihood of inducing Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). .

Design: This module generates mutants of a query peptide and predicts their potential as disease-inducing peptides. It also identifies the minimum mutations required to enhance the peptide's potency

Scan: This module generates overlapping peptides from a query protein sequence and predicts their potential to induce Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). It helps users identify specific regions within a protein that may contribute to RA. The server provides two distinct scanning modules for this purpose.

Protein Scan: This module enables users to identify regions within a protein that contribute to Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) induction, which can potentially be removed or modified. Conversely, users can also analyze a protein sequence to discover novel RA-inducing peptides.

Motif Scan: This module enables users to scan and map Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) disease-causing epitope motifs within a query sequence using the MEME/MAST and MERCI programs.
