Neurotoxic Activity Prediction


Welcome to the Prediction Module of our web server. Here, users can predict the neurotoxic potency of their peptides and proteins. To begin, simply type or paste your sequence(s) or choose your input file (FASTA format). We have used classification method to determine whether peptides and proteins are neurotoxic or non-toxic based on their primary sequence. We have employed machine learning models and protein language models. The provided options include ESM2-t30 (model created on peptide dataset), ET (model created on protein dataset) and ET (model created on combined (peptide+protein) dataset). You can select your preferred model for prediction based on the length of your sequences (<= 50: peptide, >=51: protein, mixed: combined). By default, NTxPred2 uses the ESM2-t30 model created on peptide dataset, which has demonstrated best performance on our evaluation on independent dataset.
