Welcome to IL5pred

IL5pred is developed for the prediction of IL5 inducing peptides. Interleukin-5 (IL-5) is one of the key cytokines released by several cellular elements, including T-helper 2 cells, mast cells, Type-2 innate lymphoid cells, basophils and eosinophils. It plays a diverse biological roles in eosinophil activation, maturation and survival. It is also involved in causing majority of eosinophil-mediated diseases and can act as an attractive therapeutic target. To aid the scientific community, we have developed an insilico tool that allows the user to predict and map the IL-5 inducing peptides.
