CohortThis study was a single centre, retrospective analysis of pa-tients with ACLF (European Association for the Study of Liver Diseases; EASL definition) and clinical suspicion of IFI, admit- ted in Liver Intensive Care Unit (LICU) at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh a tertiary care research hospital in India between 2 January and 31 December 2016. Out of 264 patients with ACLF, 54 (20.4%) patients with suspicion of IFI were evaluated and IFI was diagnosed in 39 (14.7%). Invasive candidiasis was documented in 25 (64.1%) and invasive aspergillosis in 14 (35.8%).
