Welcome to CPPsite3

CPPsite3 is an updated version of databases CPPsite 1 and CPPsite 2. It contains around 4143 unique cell-penetrating peptides (CPPs) along with their secondary & tertiary structure. The database was manually curated which maintains experimentally validated CPPs (linear & cyclic; modified & non-natural residues) and a wide range of cargos (nucleic acids, proteins, nanoparticles, PNA) delivered in cells using these peptides. For the previous version of CPPsite, click here for CPPsite 1 and here for CPPsite 2.

CPPsite3 Introduction

Major Features

Aim and Objective

CPPsite3 is an advanced and comprehensive database focused on CPPs. This version extends and improves upon its predecessors, integrating a larger dataset and additional structural details. The database aims to support researchers in understanding and utilizing CPPs for various biological applications.

Search Options

The database offers: i) Standard Search: Enables users to find specific CPPs based on any keyword search. ii) Advanced Search: Allows users to filter and retrieve results using logical conditions (AND/OR/NOT) for precise data exploration. This module also allow users to search based on Segment, whole peptide mapping and search based on secondary structure.

Data Browsing

Users can navigate the database based on different categories including peptide structures, sequence modifications, and different range of peptide lengths.

Similarity

This module offers built-in tools for sequence alignment , similarity analysis and structural similarity. These tools help users analyze and compare CPPs effectively.

Compatibilty

CPPsite3 is built using a responsive design framework, ensuring smooth accessibility on desktops, tablets, and smartphones. These templates are dynamic that fit content based on screen size of device.
