Prediction of Ligand Interacting Residues

This module allows users to predict ligand-interacting residues in a given protein sequence. This is a simple propensity-based method developed for a large number of ligands. The module computes propensity score (or probability of binding/interaction) of each protein residue for a given ligand. It displays the normalized propensity score (0-9 range) below the user sequence. A complete list of ligands is available from HERE, with their frequency of occurrence, present in a number of PDB chain. Detail of highly frequent ligand in PDB is available from and view ligands having highest occurrence in PDB HERE. For more information on prediction module of LPIcom, click on HELP.
