HTML View-I
HTML View-I :
From the HTML View-II the user can have a very good idea about promiscuous
regions, but the view does not represent the overlaping binding peptides
effectivaly. For example if there are three binding frames with a single
amino acid overlap the HTML View-II represent that as 12 colored residues,
whereas for an overlap of 8 residues the same three frames will be represented
as 25 colored residues. but here in this view as each overlaping binding
frame is treated seperatly, i.e. on seperate line, the repsentation will
be more usefull. The display is handy in locating overlapping binding
regions in terms of their extend of overlap.
From the above figure it can be seen that every region under lined by "********" is a binder to corresponding MHC allele. In region from aa 60 to 71 there are two overlaping frames with two amino acid overlap (allele HLA-DRB1*0101), whereas for HLA_DRB1*0102 the binding frames have an overlap of six amino acids, this distinction will not be very much visible in HTML view-II.
