| Cohort | Total 4 cases were studied. A 20-year-old emmetropic woman presented in 1990 with a 6 week history of a gradual reduction in vision of the right eye. A 22-year-old man, the brother of case 1, attended in 1989 complaining of distortion of the vision of the left eye. An 18-year-old emmetropic woman presented in 1990 with a sudden change in her left central vision. A 32-year-old emmetrophic woman presented in 1990 with distortion in her left vision. The control group consisted of 25 healthy age- and sex-matched subjects who had their lymphocyte markers analysed. |
