Disease Introduction MechanismInvasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) is common in patients undergoing treatment for acute leukaemia, haematopoietic stem cell or solid organ transplantation, and in patients re- ceiving corticosteroids. In addition, influenza-associated pul- monary aspergillosis (IAPA) and COVID-19-associated pul- monary aspergillosis (CAPA) have been increasingly reporte in recent years. The management of invasive aspergillosis is complicated due to lack of appropriate tools to assess disease progressionandresponsetotreatment.
