CohortSeven family members affected by FCNC (3 males, 4 females, with a mean age 29.8 years, range 5 to 48), presenting a Candida-caused ony- comycosis involving all the nails of hands and feet, and with oral and vaginal swabs negative for Candida infection, were enrolled in this study. As control group, 14 healthy donors (HDs), sex and age matched, were also enrolled.
