| Function | Receptor for somatostatins-14 and -28. This receptor is coupled via pertussis toxin sensitive G proteins to inhibition of adenylyl cyclase. In RIN-5F cells; this receptor inhibits calcium entry by suppressing voltage dependent calcium-channels. |
