Welcome to CRCRpred
Colo-Rectal Cancer Risk Prediction (CRCRpred) webserver can be used to distinguish high risk CRC patients from low risk CRC patients given the protein concentration of one or more apoptotic proteins (Bak, Bax, Bcl2, BclXL or Mcl1) involved in the process of Mitochondrial Outer Membrane Permeabilization (MOMP), which is defunct in the case of cancer. The risk estimation is based on statistical and survival analysis on recent CRC datasets. See supplement section for more information.
About CRCRpred
Aim and Objective: To stratify high and low risk colorectal cancer patients on the basis of proteomic and survival data obtained from recent clinical studies.
Predict: Users are provided with two options: i) Single protein - Risk percentage of a given patient whose one or more protein concentrations is known can be estimated here. The results obtained are protein wise. ii) Multiple proteins- Risk score corresponding to the risk status can be estimated using this module, provided that the concentrations of all the required proteins are known in advance. This module is based on survival analysis using the prognostic marker function beta. See supplement section for more details.
Supplement: This section would provide infortmation about the algorithms used for prediction in this webserver as well datasets that were employed for the cause.
Mobile Compatibility: CRCRpred is built on a responsive template, compatible for desktop, tablet, and smartphone. These templates are dynamic that fit content based on screen size of the device.
