MycoPrint is a web interface for exploration of the interactome of Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv (Mtb) predicted by "Domain Interaction Mapping" (DIM) method. The detail algorithm is given at algorithm page. The total of 27408 protein interactions among 2144 proteins have been predicted by this method. Integration of gene expression data into the predicted interactome further enriched the predictions. We have observed that pair-wise Pearson correlation coefficient (PCC) between gene expression profiles of predicted interactions are significantly higher than random interactions but lower than that of experimentally proven interactions. Also, Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment analysis showed some significantly overrepresented GO categories in the predicted protein network and sub-networks. The construction, analysis and visualization have been done using Cytoscape. We are providing the Cytoscape session file of the interactome with all the data for users. Please click below to launch the Cytoscape webstart version and explore the predicted interactome of Mtb interactively.

The phenomena of protein interaction is of central importance in biological system. Proteins function through these interactions.
